• Hook Farms will retain 50% semen interest in all the bulls selling.

• Hook Farms strives to provide the most current and accurate data to assist in your bull buying decision. While actual data and ratios are important, the EPDs provide the most accurate prediction of the animal’s genetic merit for a given trait. Instead of focusing on the particular value for a trait, we strongly recommend comparing the animals percentile rank relative to the rest of the Simmental population. We believe this will assist you in selecting bulls to move your herd in the genetic direction you are striving to achieve. The API and TI Indexes give you a good barometer of how the bulls will perform on a dollar basis relative to keeping replacement and/or producing terminal offspring. Please take time to read the bull buyers quick guide to EPDs as well as using the percentile table provided.

• ASA Field services representative Kelly Schmidt has evaluated the bulls and will be present on the farm February 12, 2008.

• Please call Kelly (406.599.2395) or email him at kschmidt@simmgene.com for more information and to answer any questions.
